Happy Monday, people. This week’s Weekend Recap is full of things to report. Friday night I went to a friend’s birthday and shop opening for her company Sixtyfour (really great photography) which also, coincidentally, houses another friend’s start-up MOHR (very cool homemade jewelry). This was such a fun night filled with great company and loads of inspiration. Nothing is more inspiring than seeing people like me follow their vision. Watching them make what they love work really motivates me to stick with my dream of building a fun and creative paper goods business. Here are some takeaways from the night.
Saturday was low-key with a lot of sleep and an improvised, last-minute girls night with my neighbor Isabel, complete with a major cookie-baking-fiasco and really, really bad movie rental.
Sunday we woke up to this:
I’m not going to comment a lot about this. Just enough to say that I’m really searching for reasons to like living in Germany right now. Really searching. In spite of all this horrible snow, I made it to the gym Sunday morning but you can believe that I went straight home afterward, snuggled in bed with a big coffee, and watched documentaries all day with the boyfriend. In the evening we went to our Tanzschule where we learned how to do the Foxtrott — my favorite dance yet!
We leave tomorrow for Thüringen but I’ll do my best to post before we head out. Hope everyone has a wonderful start to the week!
Bis später!

We don’t have snow yet, but it’s forecast for later in the week. So much for spring! Well done on making it to the gym anyway – you really earned that coffee in bed.
Haha! Thanks. This snow makes me want to stay in bed. Ready for warmer weather!
